American
Racing Custom Wheels represent the apex of the custom wheels
and rims world. Founded by Romeo Palimedes in 1959, American Racing Equipment
specialized in drag racing wheels and rims.
American Racing was famous for its early magnesium rear wheels from
six to ten inches wide, along with its magnesium spindle-mount twelve-spoke
front wheels in 15 by 3 1/2 inches.
In the mid-Sixties, American Racing Equipment rims were produced in
sizes as large as 16 by 13 inches wide. Today you can find American Racing
custom wheels in a number of styles and sizes for both road and track
applications. From this specialized custom wheel and rim design team
comes the new American Racing Razor custom wheel.
Today you can buy the latest version of the Razor in chrome, glossy
black with machined lip, and silver finishes at Hubcap-Tire-Wheel.com,
the Internet's complete source of custom wheels, rims and
tires. The Razor model comes in 5 or 6 spoke design and is tailored to
meet the exceptionally high engineering and design standards of all American
Racing custom wheels.
The American Racing Razor comes in sizes ranging from 16 to 22 inches,
depending on the finish. The wheels have offsets that can be used on
both the front and rear. The Razor is a special American Racing custom
rim model as it combines that old vintage racing look with the performance
standards of contemporary street wheels. These hot wheels are ideal for
that muscle car like the Dodge Challenger or Chevy Camaro, and will make
heads turn when you roll down your street!
